NFL Week 6 player props, picks, and best bets: Raheem Mostert, TJ Hockenson

Week 6 NFL player props are dropping as we move toward Sunday, but the value will be gone by the time game day hits.

So we scour the markets early for player prop value on Week 6.

Last week was the best week we’ve had so far this season, hitting at +1225 player prop, bringing our overall record to 18-17 and a 17.6 unit profit.

So let’s keep those wonderful results coming with some more player prop plays for Week 6 of the NFL season.

Week 6 NFL player props picks

Raheem Mostert over 67.5 rushing yards -101 (Caesars) | 100+ rushing yards +360 (Bet365)

De’Veon Achane is out for at least five weeks, giving Mostert bell-cow duties at least until Jeff Wilson Jr. is back off IR.

Salvon Ahmed should mix in a little, but this is Mostert’s backfield for now and the Panthers defense is ranked 32nd in rush DVOA, somehow worse than the Denver Broncos.

The Dolphins are also averaging a ridiculous 6.9 yards per attempt, by far the most in the NFL.

This is a smash opportunity to target against the worst run defense, with the best-rushing offense, who has a legitimate No. 1 running back in Mostert for the first time.

Target Mostert everywhere in all props against the Panthers, but specifically his rushing projections, I have this at 72.5 rushing yards and his 100+ spot is one to grab as well if you have access to Bet365.

Travis Etienne Jr. over 68.5 rushing yards -117 (BetRivers) | 125+ +850 (Bet365)

This is a great line to grab on Travis Etienne Jr., most sportsbooks have his projection closer to 72.5.

That’s a fine line too, considering the Colts’ run defense is league average according to Pro Football Focus and bottom 10 in tackling.

FTN projections has Etienne’s rushing projection at 80.1 so there’s still value at the higher levels.

125+ on Bet365 is another very solid line at +850, considering every other sportsbook has it at +500.

Betting on the NFL?

TJ Hockenson over 54.5 (-114, FanDuel) | 75+ receiving yards +310 (Bet365)

Justin Jefferson is out, someone needs to take that massive amount of targets that are left over.

Step in TJ Hockenson who is in a prime position to dominate on Sunday against the Bears who are allowing the 10th most receiving yards to opposing tight ends.

Hockenson is the guy you should be targeting on Sunday in an expected highly projected score this weekend.

And yes, Bet365 has the best line on his alternate yards total, +310 is the best line compared to +180 on most other books for 70+ yards.

Grab +2 TDs on FanDuel at +1200 as well.
