West Ham star Lucas Paqueta is being investigated by the Football Associations for possible breaches of rules on betting on football.
The Daily Mail reports that the 25-year-old is yet to be charged and the ‘specifics are yet to be revealed’ but the FA are investigating the Brazil international.
Sky Sports reports that the bets were placed in Brazil, but Paqueta insists he did not place the bets and he does not bet at all.
Paqueta was linked with a big-money move to Manchester City this summer, but the deal appears to be at best on hold and possibly completely off due to the investigation.
