NOTTINGHAM FOREST remain “hopeful” their clash with Luton at the City Ground will go ahead despite flooding in the area.
The Tricky Trees are due to host the newly-promoted Premier League side on Saturday afternoon.
But flooding in the city has led to fears the match could be postponed.
However, according to The Athletic, are reporting the home side are optimistic the match will take place as scheduled.
Forest will stay in constant contact with the safety advisory group, police and local councils as they monitor the heavy rainfall.
